The logic behind
Sacred Geometry is simple. The symmetrical patterns which we observe in nature are too organized, too perfect to have simply emerged by chance.

Therefore every philosopher has an obligation to at least consider the possibility that the universe was designed by some form of intelligence.

Perhaps long before the creation of the universe, consciousness was naturally evolving within the dark void of eternity.

Over time this consciousness developed into an intelligence capable of establishing all the laws of mathematics, geometry, and physics that are required to create a balanced, properly functioning universe.

This possibility has been entertained by many of history’s most prominent philosophers. The most notable being Plato with the popular quote, “God Geometrizes Continually.” Plato was largely influenced by ideas from the ancient Greek mystery school of the Pythagoreans, circa the 6th century BC.

Pythagoras was among the first to discover that every object in the physical world is constructed in strict accordance with the laws of geometry.

The Golden Ratio and Golden Spiral can be observed throughout the universe: in snow flakes, flowers, mollusk shells, our faces & bodies, hurricanes, and even in the spiraling of galaxies.

The Pythagorean’s only logical explanation for the geometrical precision in nature was that the universe must have been created by an intelligence similar to their own.

Plato expanded on the work of the Pythagoreans with the 5 Platonic Solids: the Tetrahedron, Cube, Octahedron, Icosahedron, and the Dodecahedron. The Platonic Solids are constructed with congruent, regular, polygonal faces with the same number of faces meeting at each vertex.

Plato famously believed that “…God used the dodecahedron for arranging the constellation on the whole heaven.” Historians claim that he kept the knowledge of the dodecahedron a closely guarded secret; even among the initiates of his own academy.

What’s remarkable is that in 2003, Jeffrey Weeks, a recipient of a MacArthur Genius Grant, used data collected from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) on cosmic microwave background radiation to reveal that the universe is finite and shaped like a Dodecahedron!

The knowledge of Sacred Geometry has been passed down and hidden by various mystery schools for centuries; most recently within the Order of Freemasonry. Throughout the years, stonemasons have been secretly designing churches and temples in accordance with the divine proportions of the Golden Ratio and Golden Spiral. They believe that buildings constructed in this fashion help foster a direct connection between human beings and the Creator of the universe.

Today, Hebrew Kabbalists have preserved the knowledge of Sacred Geometry within their most holy symbol, the Star of David.

The Star of David is believed to represent the process the Creator follows while forming physical objects from nothing. Starting by defining a 0-Dimensional Point, extending the point into a 1-Dimensional Line, extending the line into a 2-Dimensional Plane(Triangle), extending the triangle into a 3-Dimensional Pyramid(Tetrahedron), and then spinning the tetrahedron to form a Sphere. Spheres are hexagonally packed and the process repeated to create a geometric pattern that can be used to construct physical objects of any shape or size. All in accordance with the divine proportions as established by the Creator of the universe!

Even history’s most renowned physicist, Albert Einstein, observed the precision of the universe and openly expressed his belief in the possibility of some form of intelligence responsible for its creation. This core guiding intellectual principle was central to his understanding of physics and can best be expressed with the famous quote – “I want to know how God created this world. I’m not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts…”
